Professional Services
Ascend AI was engaged by a professional services company to assess where AI could add value across sales and delivery. We conducted discovery workshops and process analysis, identified priority use-cases, and delivered training on practical AI capabilities, risks, and governance. We then co-designed and implemented two tools:
Proposal Draft Agent. This agent turns client discovery inputs, previous case studies, and reusable templates into a polished first draft, complete with scope, timeline, team bios, and FAQs, ready for human review in Word/Google Docs. It standardises tone and structure while cutting drafting time.
LinkedIn Lead Outreach Agent. This agent helps build targeted prospect lists and generates personalised connection notes and follow-ups based on each profile. Messages are queued for human approval to stay compliant with LinkedIn policies, and activity is logged back to the CRM.
Together, the tools reduced proposal turnaround and made outreach more consistent, while our education sessions ensured the team understood the guardrails and could iterate with confidence.
Real Estate
Our firm was engaged by a real estate agency to identify where AI could add value across lead handling and prospecting. We ran discovery workshops, mapped the enquiry→inspection→appraisal flow, and delivered training on practical AI, privacy/consent, and human-in-the-loop governance. We then co-designed and implemented two tools:
Lead Qualification Agent
Automatically engages new buyer/seller leads from web forms, portals, and social. It asks concise questions (timeline, budget/price guide, suburbs, finance/pre-approval, property to sell), captures notes, and routes warm leads to the right agent with suggested next steps. It can offer inspection times and write back to the CRM.
Result: Faster response, higher qualification quality, and improved conversion from enquiry to appointment.
Market Research Agent
Monitors real-estate sites and approved sources against saved briefs (price band, location, bedrooms, features) to produce a daily shortlist with key attributes, comps, and quick commentary. Outputs are pushed to the CRM or shared with buyers; actions remain agent-approved to respect site terms.
Result: Consistent, time-saving prospecting and better-targeted options for active buyers.
Construction
Our firm was engaged by a construction company to identify where AI could add value across pre-construction and delivery. We ran discovery workshops with estimating and HSEQ teams, mapped tender and site-reporting workflows, and delivered training on practical AI, confidentiality (commercial-in-confidence), and human-in-the-loop governance. We then co-designed and implemented two tools:
Tender Agent
Reviews tender packs (RFTs, specs, drawings, addenda) to summarise scope, submission requirements, key risks, and compliance items. It compares the opportunity to the company’s capability/case-study library to assess fit, highlights strengths to feature, and drafts boilerplate sections for a response, ready for estimator review.
Result: Faster go/no-go decisions and higher-quality first drafts with consistent structure and tone.
Safety Summary Agent
Ingests daily site diaries and safety reports to generate a concise summary per project, flagging risks, trends, and any non-compliance or overdue actions. Morning digests are sent to PMs and supervisors, and updates are recorded back into the project system.
Result: Better visibility for project teams, quicker follow-up on issues, and less admin for site staff.
Through targeted opportunity assessment, team education, and lightweight AI tooling, the client improved bid throughput and safety oversight while keeping experts firmly in the loop.
Health & Fitness
Our firm was engaged by a health & fitness operator to assess where AI could add value across the member lifecycle. We ran discovery workshops, mapped key journeys (lead → trial → member), and delivered training on practical AI, consent, and human-in-the-loop governance. We then co-designed and implemented two tools:
Weekly Check-In Agent
Automates brief weekly SMS/email check-ins to capture sessions completed, injuries/niggles, sleep/energy/mood, and short goals. Responses are summarised for coaches with risk flags and suggested next steps, and all data is written back to the CRM for trends over time.
Result: Reduced admin, earlier intervention for at-risk members, and more personalised programming.
Lead Nurture Agent
Follows up trials and new enquiries with concise, personalised messages that answer common questions (pricing, timetable, parking), share social proof, and include a booking link. Cadence adapts to engagement; conversations hand off to staff when nuance is required. Activity is logged to the CRM.
Result: Higher trial-to-member conversion and consistent, on-brand follow-up without extra front-desk workload.

Healthcare
Our firm was engaged by a healthcare provider to assess where AI could add value across intake and patient engagement. We ran discovery workshops with admin and clinical leads, mapped referral-to-discharge workflows, and delivered training on practical AI, privacy/consent, and clinical governance. We then co-designed and implemented two tools:
Referral Intake Agent
Securely ingests referral letters (PDF/email/fax) and extracts key data-patient details, referrer, diagnosis/indication, urgency, investigations, to populate the EMR/CRM. It checks for duplicates, flags missing information, and routes urgent cases for triage, with a complete audit trail.
Result: Reduced admin burden, faster triage, and cleaner data in core systems.
Patient Follow-Up Agent
Sends personalised follow-ups based on treatment type and timeline (e.g., day-3 wound check, week-2 physiotherapy check-in). Collects patient-reported outcomes/symptoms, surfaces red flags for clinician review, and books or reschedules where appropriate. All interactions are written back to the EMR/CRM.
Result: Improved adherence and recovery monitoring, fewer missed issues, and less manual chasing for staff.
